About Savannah Traveler

Not a directory. Not a sponsored list. A shortlist from someone who lives here — park once, then walk.

Most travel sites drown you in options. Thirty "best restaurants" lists where half the places are mediocre and the rest are closed. This site doesn't do that.

Savannah Traveler is a personal project. I'm a Savannah resident, and when friends and family visit, they always ask the same questions: where should we eat breakfast? Which ghost tour if any? Is Broughton worth the walk in the heat? I got tired of texting the same answers, so I built this.

Every category has one top pick — the place I'd send you if I could only choose one. Below that, a few alternates in case your vibe is different or my pick is packed. That's it. No ads, no sponsorships, no affiliate links. Just honest picks from someone who's been to every one of these places.

How picks are made

Simple: I've been there. More than once, usually. If a place earns a tile on this site, it's because I'd feel good sending a friend there and know they'd have a great time. Places fall off if they decline. New spots get added when they prove themselves.
